Google launched the Pixel 3a series last week at it’s Google I/O 2019 conference keynote. Precisely a week following, OnePlus held its own press conference to launch the phone we strongly anticipated from the company, the OnePlus 7 series.

If you are planning on buying a new phone within the midrange price, these two are the best and the freshest ones in the market right now. But if you ask me which one I would buy, I’ll definitely choose One plus 7 pro. Let me tell you why

Reason #1: Performance, battery life, and charging

The Snapdragon 670 processor in the Pixel 3a XL simply cannot be called dull, but it doesn’t seem to compare to the Snapdragon 855 in the OnePlus 7 Pro. When we consider at RAM and storage, and the OnePlus 7 Pro largely exceeds the Pixel 3a XL according to the specs given.

The OnePlus 7 Pro has a 300mAh edge over the Pixel, but Pixel can easily win this out as the design and display in One plus seven looks more battery draining. Both the phones take 30 minutes to charge the battery from 0 percent to 50 percent.

To put it all together, the Pixel 3a XL offers somewhat better battery life and moreover, effective charging. The OnePlus 7 Pro’s processing capability is far exceeding anything the Pixel 3a XL can contribute.

Reason #2: Design

The OnePlus 7 Pro looks like it’s about to win the beauty contest for phones in 2019. It looks spectacular! There’s a pop-up selfie camera, which implies there’s no notch. The 6.67-inch display rules the frontal panel, and it’s simply a beautiful thing. It has Gorilla Glass 5 and the vertically arranged triple-lens camera. Pixel 3A might be a little more durable than One plus, but when talking purely about design One plus is the winner!

Reason #3: Display

Pixel 3A XL has a 6-inch gOLED display and a vibrant 2160 x 1080 resolution. It’s explicit and presents particular importance on bright colors. Still, it’s not going to be as stunning as the 3120 x 1440 resolution on the OnePlus 7 Pro’s cumbersome 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED’s performance. The OnePlus display has a sleek 90Hz refresh rate, presents attractive colors. Moreover, DisplayMate has bestowed the OnePlus 7 Pro with its eminent A+ grade.

Including convincing flagship specifications, a stunningly beautiful, notch free design, and one of the high-grade displays in the market, the OnePlus 7 Pro seems like its the impressive phone of the two. It definitely doesn’t mean that Pixel 3 is a no-go!

It’s doesn’t look trendy or as compelling as OnePlus but the Google Pixel 3a XL presents an extraordinary camera, seamless performance, instant Android updates, and astonishing A.I.-powered features. If the design isn’t essential to you, you should surely think of buying the Pixel 3a XL!
